The iOS 10.3.2 update aims to improve iOS 10 performance but some iOS 10.3.2 users are noticing battery drain, installation issues, and other performance issues.

With that in mind we want to take a look at the most important things iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners need to know about the iOS 10.3.2 problems currently plaguing Apple’s mobile devices.

This roundup takes a look at the current state of problems, shows you potential fixes for the most common iOS 10.3.2 issues, and provides some resources that could come in handy if you start to see trouble with your version of iOS 10.3.2.

It also looks at what’s next for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Apple’s confirmed a new iOS 10 update but it might be light on fixes.

iOS 10.3.2 Problems

The current list of iOS 10.3.2 problems includes some of the usual suspects.

iOS 10.3.2 users are seeing installation errors, weird battery drain, Wi-Fi issues, busted Bluetooth, Touch ID problems, 3D Touch issues, Hey Siri problems, and issues with third-party applications including Facebook.

We’re also hearing about UI lag on older devices, random reboots, issues with sound, and various problems with the App Store including broken downloads.

iOS 10 users have also stumbled upon a particularly nasty Siri bug that allows cellular data to be disabled from a device’s lock screen without a passcode.

The bug works reportedly on all versions of iOS 10 including the upcoming iOS 10.3.3 update that’s currently in beta.

Apple’s discussion forums, Reddit, and social media sites like Twitter are filling up with complaints about the iOS 10.3.2 update and we expect the list to grow as more people find and install Apple’s new software.

It’s virtually impossible to predict what kind of performance you’ll see on your phone or tablet and this is precisely why we always recommend doing a some prep work before installing an iOS release, even before a small maintenance release like iOS 10.3.2.

We’ve put together a step-by-step process that will take you through the pre-iOS 10.3.2 installation process we used on our iPhones and iPads.

Where to Find Feedback

As we push away from the iOS 10.3.2 release date it’s important to keep tabs on the update’s performance. Part of this is monitoring your version of the update for issues. Part of it is digging into feedback from other iOS 10.3.2 users.

Digging into this ongoing iOS 10.3.2 feedback will alert you to potential iOS 10.3.2 problems and it’ll help you find potential benefits of the iOS 10.3.2 update.

If that doesn’t work, schedule an appointment to see a Genius at a local Apple Store.

iOS 10.3.2 to iOS 10.3.1 Downgrade Closed

If you’re dealing with iOS 10.3.2 problems know that you’re stuck until Apple rolls out iOS 10.3.3.

Apple is no longer signing off on iOS 10.3.1 which means you can no longer downgrade in an effort to fix the problems you’re seeing on iOS 10.3.2. You can’t downgrade to anything older than iOS 10.3.1 either.

This is a permanent change and Apple won’t open the iOS 10.3.1 downgrade up at a later date.

If you’re curious about the downgrade process and how it works, take a look at our detailed walkthrough.

What’s Next

At this point, you can’t rely on Apple to fix your iOS 10.3.2 problem.

Apple’s confirmed an iOS 10.3.3 update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch but it’s in beta ahead of an unknown release date.

The update appears to be another maintenance update (it does include some new iPad Pro wallpapers) which means it will probably come with a limited amount of bug fixes and security updates.

With no release date in sight, those of you struggling with iOS 10.3.2 problems will be on your own for a few more days at least.

Apple’s also released an iOS 11 beta for select iPhone and iPad models ahead of an official release sometime this fall.

The iOS 11 update is stuffed with features, tweaks, and enhancements but it’s also plagued with many of the same problems affecting iOS 10.3.2 users.

While exciting, the iOS 10.3.3 beta and the iOS 11 beta simply aren’t viable options for those of you looking to solve iOS 10.3.2 problems.

For more on iOS 11 beta, take a look at our reasons to and not to install. Most of you will want to stay on official iOS software.
